Wow 17th season. Been watching the Top Gear marathon they been having the last few days.

I'm enjoying "Crash Course" so far. It's not terribly exciting, but it's interesting.

Thus far I'd say it's decent but nothing special. I think the problem is that it's produced by BBC America rather than the BBC itself, so it suffers from some of the same sort of flatness that similar American shows do. Hammond is amiable as always and does a decent job hosting, but it lacks that Top Gear buzz.

Watched the first episode, haven't watched the 2nd one yet.

I felt it was mediocre, and if I don't like the 2nd one, I'll cancel recording it on my DVR.

I've liked Captain Slow's sideshows (The toy one and the drinking with Oz Clark one ...) but this doesn't really grip me.
