i'm trying to hear some richard christy drumming before i decide to purchase his band's music, but don't know what to look for.

i'm a hiphop head, but like the speed drumming that death metal has, can someone help me out?

Well, I have many Richard Christy MP3s, but none contain any drumming - just his brilliant comedy bits for the Stern show.

but i would like to hear some of his music rather than just a solo, i just read my original message and saw that it is misleading

i actually voted for sal to get john's job, but i'm glad richard won, and the fact that sal works there now is just icing on the cake!

Yeah, I'm pretty fanatical about it as well. I always have a current show in my car (on my iPod Shuffle), and have all of the last 6 months or so of shows. I didn't always keep them, but once it was clear he was going to Sirius, I started archiving the shows.

I LOVE Richard Christy, and Sal's psychosis has been entertaining of late as well. Too bad Artie seems to be going off the deep end.

He keeps calling in sick. It started when Howard kinda challenged him asking for a few weeks off in the fall to make a movie. Since then, he has called in sick 3-4 times (which is especially weird since he had NEVER called in sick in his nearly 4 years up until that point). It seems as though he may be back on drugs or having some kind of breakdown. I wish the big guy well . . .

I believe he was drumming with Iced Earth in the late 90's, and was on Death's Live DVD as their drummer for that tour. I will update in a bit with more info.

Ok, in Iced earth he did these three albums:

Horror Show
Glorious Burden
Tribute to the Gods

He did an album with Rick Renstrom called "Until the bitter end"

I also know he was the drummer on the album "Death, live in LA "

I listen on my ipod too, but i'm usually caught up or only a few days behind, it really makes any kind of work go by really quick.

And yeah, Richard and Sal have been great additions to the show. I hope Artie doesnt completely lose it though

I know, artie would make it in even on days with 2 hours of sleep and still completely wasted.
