GET IT NOW!
This game is so realistic! When you brake too hard, you lose traction, and you can't turn, unlike usual games..
Also this game you actually need to use the handbrake to drift :)

It's hard as hell though, if you do it realistic mode, if you crash at about 80kph or more, your car will burn, and you can't drive anymore, and have to start over.

Great game:thumbsup:

I agree, great game
It is the most challenging rally game I have played; one mistake could cost you the hole race unless your capable of correcting that mistake fast! (I am not fast enough to fix my mistakes :( that's why I have failed to finish any races yet :p)

I can tell you it supports my Logitech Driving Force Pro (which is the PS2 "GT4" wheel)

Started training last night, damn this is difficult to control! :) I did the only open stage of the British rally (with full damage and all the realism turned on), and the first time i crashed and burned, the next time it took me 7:48 to do!

I'm kinda new to the rally racing genre, but I've really enjoyed the last few games in the Colin McRae series. How does RBR compare to the CMR series?

From what i've seen so far (which is about 30 mins of RBR, and have played CMR1, 2, 4), RBR is MUCH more realistic than CMR, especially in handling. You could easily throw a car round in CMR and not do much damage and stay reasonably on the track, but in RBR you have to be much more careful.

Yes RBR is as real as it gets...
CMR04 is pretty fun, and it's pretty realistic, but just not there, RBR is talking it to the next level on realism.

I'm intrigued, but will wait for a demo. I'm always on the lookout for a good racing game and am eagerly awaiting GTR.

Foliage seems a bit crappy, cars sucks (I had foliage inside my car once, it was a bug, not a broken car, the car had almost no damage).
Graphically it is pretty poor.
Gameplay is OK, but I would have expected more in terms of graphics, and I can't get used to the co driver. I was fine in CM, but with this, the co drivers just seems to be useless (to me).

I've got the Logitech Momo Force Feedback wheel. Supported?

I don't have either the Momo FF wheel or RBR to test it out, but I'm pretty sure all the Logitech wheels are supported. From the reviews I've read, the Momo FF wheel is best of the bunch, so I wouldn't worry about it.

For those that have played it, how's performance on your systems?

I was checking out the RBR website, and some of those screenshots are amazing. I had a hard time deciding between the game screenshots and the real-life photos.

I set my joystick y-axis to be the clutch... and I just place it on the ground and press the handle with my left foot. It doesn't quite feel like the real thing, but it's beter than nothing :)

I have the "Thrustmaster F1 Force Feedback Wheel". This seemed to have a problem in TOCA Race Driver 2.

1024x768@low is running about 30-40FPS (can't say anything about high 'cause my system will crash if I set it for high)
That was with AMD Duron 1.2Ghz, 640MB RAM,R9600NP :) Quite good result considering that the processor requirement was 1.6Ghz

Is it out for XBox in North America yet? Or is it even coming over here for console?
