Do most here hate rich kids?

btw, I'm about 10 minutes away from Stone Harbor and Avalon. The homes that are built on these islands easily surpass a million dollars. Most of the kids drive $30k+ cars. I've neer seen so many BMW's and Mercede Benz before in my life this past weekend.

Lots of money.
 
I hate people who try to substitute money for lack of social skills, but that's about it. Better believe I'd have a private jet for myself if I could afford it.

That's true. The majority of rich folks that I've met are very well behaved. I remember a few years ago when I was a gas attendant. I had filled this gentleman's Porsche. The car was probably worth $90k+.

The guy was very nice.

its really not my business what people do with their money, and i dont dislike rich assholes any more than i dislike poor assholes. to hate someone just bc they are rich, well that just jealousy and im better than that...

I agree with that statement 100%. The reason I think most people hate the rich is because they've never adapted. They stay at their city job making $28k a year. Then they all bitch and moan that the rich have everything and they have nothing.

But at least they play the lotto every day. :disgust:

I work at a private catholic school where a majority of the kids are rich.
Some of them are anal and dont even talk to me, but most of them are cool. They dont act as they are rich, but once school let's out and I see some of them otuside of school, the typical "I'm rich" thing sticks out.

I do know of one girl who's filthy rich but she doesnt drive a BMW or a Benz. She has a 98 Camry and she's super cool. She told me she doesnt like to flaunt it and hates how the other girls who are rich look down at the girls who are just getting by.

I don' t come from a wealthy neighborhood. I said that I live 5-10 minutes away from 2 wealth neighborhoods but I live in a predominant working middle class city.
 
my cousin is one of those rich turds in avalon. i couldn't care less if someone is rich or not, but i hate the snobby ones who think they're big because of daddy's money. (experience working in a country club so i ran across this a few times)

I think that people w/ money don't really think much about it. Money isn't an issue for the majority of these people. They purchase whatever they want and they live how they see fit. I even think some rich people don't even think that they are rich. If you've been born into money how are you going to realte to people who have to work for a living?
 
My sister's bf's family are mega millionaires. Via oil, company, and pottery.

He drives a Tahoe and is given a respectable allowance to pay for apartment while in college. After bach. degree, he is 100% on his own.

His family could spoil the crap outof him, yet they don't. His brother went through Northwestern Law School and is in $100k of debt. His sister is also self-supporting and makes enough to buy a new A8.

lol, that's my uncle. That's not me. I borrowed money from my uncle last month. He paid off my car laon and some other outstanding personal loans. But I have to pay him back the laon in full. Hell, I even had to sign a piece of paper that stated that I would pay him $30 a week payment until the loan is paid in full. I don't take anything from him unless I desperatley need help.

If I'm going to be a success I'd like to do it on my own.

eh. I really don't give a fvck about money. I have simple tastes, expect when it comes to computers. If I made 40K+ a year, I really would be absolutely fine.
