About the book? Never read it. I'm poor right now, but once I start making some money (if I ever do), I'll probably pick up a copy.

i think it's more to do with general advice.. not really a 'how-to' book but a feel good book that opens your eyes a bit more..

<< what do u mean "this is the one" ??? who is the one?? what is one referring to?? >>

I'm refering to all those get rich quick guys who are con-artists and con people out of thier hard earned money by promising they can be rich if only they buy this book, this game, this packet, or this seminar. At first it gets folks excited because it plays on thier emotions and dreams but after a few months or years the consumer is out of money and the ONE is in jail for fraud.. BTW Robert Kiyosaki is the current hot guru whom I refering to.

All these guys are or have been the ONE:

Hehe.. I saw Tom Vu in that list. I remember that guy, he did commercials from some yacht with numerous babes around: "You too can be like Tom Vu!" What a dork! I think he went to prison for tax evasion...

i have read the book and i too am sold and skeptical at the same time. however, like someone else said, the book isn't one of those "do this and that" but more of a get-your-mind-working-toward-a-financial-goal book.

for me, it had made me thing more focused on what i like to do and how i can make a living off of it. it was just the grease that got the wheel turning. that's all.

Spend less, save more, invest in reasonable-risk things like bank CDs and S&P500 mutual funds.

Wealth gurus are all a lot like diet gurus, trying to teach a magic philosophy or food mix that doesn't really work better than: eat less, exercise more. But we don't want to hear something that simple, we want the magic.
