No need to defend for the guy. The people who complains are just angry and bitter. These are the same guys that spend a wad of cash on the "newest and coolest" computer parts.

Not really. The guys a fool in my opinion and there's no way I'd spend >250 over a video card. Thats the most expensive component in the computer for the most part.

The kid is 20.

He is either stupid or spoiled way to much in which case, his parents are stupid.

And in either case, this leads to the question. Where the fvck does someone with half a brain get money to blow on $600 lug nuts?

Eh, for show only isn't so bad, and he's not making any claims or defending them or anything. He saw something he really liked and he got them.

Indeed. Just like the guys that buy window side kits for their pc's etc.

He put Honda badges on an Acura 😕

I think he just has more money than he knows what to do with:
15. JDM oil dipstick
19. Mugen oil cap

well acura is american rebrand of honda... IIRC they sell RSX in japan as Honda Integra

THAT'S COMMON KNOWLEDGE.

PERHAPS MUGS IS CONFUSED AS TO WHY SOMEONE WOULD SPEND MONEY AND TIME TO DO SUCH A THING

which suggests hes going to have a problem with galvanic corrosion

If the studs have more than a trace of cadmium in their protective coatings the reaction can be adverse. This is unrelated to galvanism but comes from a metallurgist with SR71 avionics experience.

It's his choice to spend his money the way he sees fit, but with that being said I do think it is just a dumb choice.
