"Ricer," isn't that a little insulting to Asians?

As for the g#y thing.... we used that all the time while i was growing up. It meant that something was lame. Nothing more or less but LAME. Now a group of ppl take the word for themselves and we get banned from using it. ok, fine.... imho, it is silly and unfair, but whatever. and, I agree that many times using the term 'rice burner' is used to signify asian cars. I grew up on the term, and it never meant Asians = bad. It meant asian vehicles. When the the transformation happen that it became derogatory. And no, I am not trying to be difficult or disrespectful. I am old enough to remember a time when things were not a big deal and this country was not so P.C. I hear a lot of people say... oh.. this is offensive and that is offensive... but no one seems to question why or explain why.
no i totally agree, people get worked up over the stupidest things, but being from an area where rice rockets are common and having friends with them, I can sort of "explain" their reasoning behind why they would get offended by such things. I agree with both sides, but most of all I agree that all the PC people need to stfu

Me too. And it was not mean spirited, or meant to be insulting. It meant Asian vehicle. That is all it meant. Dunno, I guess I missed where all these terms became something derogatory.
