ricemodding a computer case (with poll!)

for my next computer upgrade, i'd like to get a case with an acrylic window and some LED fans. is ricemodding completely stupid, or just a fun thing to do? i think it'd be pretty neat, but the case will cost me $$ >-<

Well, it certainly isn't worth it as it adds no performance increase to the computer. Whether or not it is worth it to you is entirely up to you. If it pleases you to look at it then go ahead and spend the money.

I think a side window and some lights are kind of cool looking personally.

Buying a case with an acrylic window channels more airflow than your normal 'puter case.
