I've been driving an '89 Chrysler turbocharged minivan to school for the past few weeks because I'm too lazy to fix the brakes on the Vandura. I come out to the car after school today and find the riceboys waiting around my van (This is in the faculty parking lot mind you - you aren't even supposed to be back there unless your car is there, and you certainly aren't supposed to be parked there unless you either teach there or bummed a spare permit off a teacher). They proceed to inform me that they don't appreciate my making a mockery of their (And I quote) "Turbocharged awesomeness." I ask them WTF they're talking about, and they indicate the turbo badges on my fenders. I explain that the badges are OEM, and they claim that no minivan has ever had a turbocharger. I offer to show them otherwise and pop the hood, exposing the mostly empty engine compartment with the little 4 banger hiding down in the bottom, with a clearly visible Mitsu turbo parked on top. "What the fvck, that isn't a turbocharger. That's not even an engine."
Now, these 3 tards drive, respectively, a 6-cyl Civic, a 4-cyl Mustang, and a 6-cyl POS (I can't freaking tell what it used to be - it may have been a Neon), all 3 riced to the point of hilarity. I KNOW that if I dumped the bench seats out of the van and turned up the turbo boost a little bit (I already have all the hardware neccessary installed), I could annhilate them. The Vandura could probably take them on as well.
Anyway, we argued for awhile longer, and then they offered to race me. I told them I'd think about it. Now that I sit down to think about it, I know they won't take it to the track - they were thoroughly embarassed the last time they did, because they challenged some dude with a Dodge Charger. BAD idea. Totally whipped. So they now believe that track racing is biased against 'performance vehicles'. What does ATOT think? Road racing is bad, but these idiots need some schoolin.
