That sounds interesting, is it alcoholic by chance? I'd think it'd take longer then 5-6 hours to become that way, but you never knowOriginally posted by: LOLyourFace
is it Korean? I'm Korean and the american description, Rice Water is probably referring to Syk Hye. (Sweet Rice Nectar)
It's sooooooooo good.. especially during hot summer days... a nice cold tall glass of syk hye.. mmmm.. and chewy rice pieces..
What N8magic is referring to is different from Syk Hye. That's just chilled rice + water which is known as Ssal Juk, and is not sweet.

I guess it backfired, didn't it? DIDN'T IT?!?! Calming down now.... I know there is a rice type alcohal that is often combined with fruit nectars to become a really good drink, but is really crappy without the nectar. I never heard of rice water though. I figure its just that dirty crap water that I drain outa my bowl when washing my rice before popping it in the cooker.

Soju?
all the different flavored sojus they sell at korean bars are crap. nothing but watered down soju, with artificial flavoring. if you're gonna drink soju, do it the right way. straight from the bottle! (i drank 2 bottles last time, got drunk real fast)
