<< The Supra is the only car that can make me forget about my love for the Viper. I've yet to feel the thrill of the TT version, but having driven a lightly modified Supra(single turbo conversion or something, I was too giddy) and an older RT/10, I can definately say that the Supra would be the car I'd definately love to own as a daily driver.
If only that video was in daylight, that would be a definate keeper. The only thing that could make it better would be to add a GSXR1K to the fray, and watch the commotion ensue. 🙂 >>
i would much rather drive a large single turbo supra. >>
And I a car that doesn't have major boost lag. Have you seen the dynos for a large single turbo Supra? Torque is pathetic as is horspeower down low. Give me an all motor Corvette anyday. There's practicality in immediate and large amounts of torque at all ranges. Really...there is. Torque allows me to get better gas mileage/performance than a large turbo car around town and is no slouch at any range.
No matter what you think, there is no replacement for displacement. Give me the same money it took to mod the Supra, and I'll give you a faster Pony Car/muscle car.
Contrary to popular belief, Camaros and Corvettes handle very well in capable hands.
