Rice Cooker? Do I need one? Which one?

Really started getting into just getting plain white steamed rice at the local Chinese and Japanese restaurants. Would like to buy a big bag and keep it around the house for snacking instead of whatever junk food I can find. Need a somewhat inexpensive but quality rice cooker I think?

Anyone help me on this subject. I've only heard of rice cookers in tales, never actually seen/held one myself. If anyone could give me a basic rundown etc. I'd be much obliged

You can cook rice in just about any pan that has a lid.

Rice is good... Not a fan of brown rice though, only white and fried for me...

Check out your local Chinatown. But you can still cook rice in a pot although it's not as easy.
