But we have to protect their outdated business model! We can't let out music and movie industry go under to!

I can't honestly see this going through. And I definitely don't see the supreme court standing for this.
 
What's sad is that Health Care Reform gets thousands of people to rally in protests but if this were instituted, very few people would be smart enough to realize or care.

Your assuming that SCOTUS would actually hear arguments this matter. By the time they did... it would probably be too late, unless an injunction was granted by a lower court.
 
That's really scary that they would even think these are acceptable and reasonable methods to help enforce their copyrights.
