yep RIAA needs to cut this out.

OK guys. These kind of stories appear mostly on sites like /. While popular, these tech sites don't have a lot of general public visibility.

I'm sending this to a couple of radio stations, and maybe one of the local TV channels, to see if they're interested. I encourage everyone to do the same in their area. Things like this need to have lots of attention drawn to them, so that more and more people will come to realize what a bunch of anus-spelunking donkey rapists the RIAA is. Stories of big companies beating up on innocent people go over really well among the rabble.

there's not a whole lot to this article though, its one paragraph and doesn't really give any details

other wise i would, perhaps i'll just send the link to my local radio station

no matter what the outcome, she loses. if she loses the case, she has to pay the RIAA. If she wins, she has to pay her lawyers.

Money is being forced out of her pocket. fvuking BS

Yea the radio stations is what I was thinking.

I just think its important to keep this sort of thing in mind. The news stations can get more info if they are truly interested. And if they receive enough interest from the public you might actually see it shown. But for the most part, I just think its important to keep in mind for the future as well.

couldn't she adjust what she is suing for, for that in mind?

lets say she wants 10 grand, but the lawer fees are 3 grand, so couldn't she say she wants to sue for 13 grand?

Does anyone have any ACTUAL information about this case other than the claims of her lawyers?
