The RIAA can't do anything to them.

The russian police are investigating allofmp3. But that doesn't mean anything in regards to the RIAA.

That's funny. Russian police "investigating" AllOfMP3. hahhaha funniest thing I've heard all day.

It's like the Mexican police cracking down on corruption.

I would assume you could be caught in possession of illegal goods. Sort of like going to Amsterdam, buying some pot, and flying back with it in your pocket.

It would be exactly like it, of course aside from the fact one is a drug offense vs copy right offense, one comes with an international trafficking offense vs no penalties, etc etc.

You can be fined and imprisoned for violation of copyright acts.

But really, who cares? No one will be prosecuted for using that site. We live the land of "feel free to break any law you want, just don't get caught."

The RIAA has only gone after people sharing music, not downloading it (as far as I know). You wouldn't even fall into that category by using allofmp3, even if they could go after it somehow

Can you back that up with facts? (ex. article link)

Why would you pay for a service you know is still illegal? I know it's cheap, but it's still illegal and you're paying for it.

how would the riaa know who bought? unless allofmp3 is easily bribed or something

Exactly. Now this is something I want to believe that RIAA won't know who downloaded from allofmp3 cuz my comp is loaded with songs from this site.
