From PRNewswire: -- Rhythms NetConnections Inc., said today that the Company and all of its wholly-owned U.S. subsidiaries have voluntarily filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in the Southern District of New York. As of August 1, 2001, Rhythms had approximately $133.0 million in unrestricted cash and cash equivalents.
