Ricky Nelson did it, I believe. Maybe the Cascades. The author may have been one of the Cascades. It was so long ago, I just don't remember.

It charted when Nelson did it. I don't recall hearing it on the radio from the Cascades.

Ricky Nelson of "Ozzy & Harriet" .... he died in a plane crash some years ago.
