I want to use a rheostat to control my delta screamer. The radio shack near me only has a 3 watt rheostat. Will this be able to handle the delta? my physics sucks so i can't figure this out on my own. Thanks in advance.

3 watts is more than adequate for 1 Delta Screamer.
The rheostat I would use would be variable to 20 Ohms assuming your Delta fan is rated at about 6.8 watts.
A 3 watt, 20 ohm rheostat is what I'd buy. I don't know if a 25ohm resistor would stall the fan.. my guess is it probably wouldn't.
I should buy a package of resistors and start playing with them, hehe
Then post graphs with different brand name fans and RPMS, CFM and such with the different resistors. So people could look at the chart, and buy a single 10 cent resistor according to how they want their fan to opperate. No need for a $50 fan bus.
