Rheobus problems,need help

I just bought the 3.5 VR rheobus from SVC in hope of making my comp a little more quiet. Well for the build of the rheobus goes I'm happy, it said on SVC' site that it has an 8w limit but it now comes with 13w per channel, and the knobs are newer than all the pictures I've seen of it.

So now comes my problem when I hook up fans to it and set them to low speed 7v there is a bad sound coming from the fan and stays there until I turn the voltage almost to full 12v. I have a good assortment of fan to mess with (Zalman ADDA Antec CreAir Delta and more) and almost all of them do this at low speed 7v-10v or so.

Well with fans at low speed they are almost as loud as they are at 12v and annoying at that, So what can I do

Did I buy a cheap Rheobus or do they all do this, Do I need a special fan.

Now the weird thing is when I undervolt the fans 5v-7v with a Molex connector or hook them upto my Antec PS Fan only Molex the fans seem fine ie no extra noise from the fan they are quiet.

Can anyone give me some help with this someone with a Rheobus and tell me if I need a better one or not, the only other one I like is the sunbeam v2.

Some fans just happen to make a buzzing/annoying sound at lower voltages. I have 4 Panaflos hooked up to a Sunbeam rheobus and they dont' make a sound like you're describing at any voltage. I would probably replace your fans, unless there is something defective about your particular rheobus.
