RHEL to Solaris

So I've been working with RHEL for the past couple of years, but I'm thinking about taking a job that is about 50/50 RHEL/Solaris. I've never worked with Unix before, how hard will it be for me to pick up?
 
You're probably used to a lot of Linux goodies that go away in Solaris. This happens a lot, especially to coders. Expect it to be possible, but rougher than it might seem at first. GNU = GNU is not Unix, and they mean it.
