They spoof/pay homage to numorous bands and videos from the past... Can anyone name them all?

I notice Elvis, Beatles (Paul especially), Buddy Holly, The Misfits, Jefferson Starship, Bowie (as Alladin Sane), Tom Petty (top hat, could be wrong), Prince, Zeppelin, Nirvana, Early RHCP, Either Bon Jovi or Motly Crue (can't decide), The Clash, The Sex Pistols, and many more that I know i'm missing.
Anyone care to agrue and better yet ... anyone know a good place to watch it again?

I throughly enjoy the video personally... I think the 80's bit was hilarious.... Reminds me of all the old ****** 80's concert videos I used to watch as a kid...

It was also cool how well they pulled off the parts... the nirvana unplugged video was amazing... I heard rumor that that the director of American History X did the video...

The video is interesting, but it's the song that just doesn't get me yet.

When they all have the big hair, it looks like Van Halen.

the new album is pretty good also. its not quite 'blood sugar sex magik' which is a classic imo, but its better than a lot of the other stuff that has came out lately. it is a little softer than what i would've liked, but still pretty good.

I like the song quite a bit, but im a huge RHCP fan so im biased. Im doubly excited for the double-disc to be released a week from Tuesday. Can't wait for them to tour back in the US besides Lollapalooza.

Yeah I really hate that aspect of it. I've been able to find some tracks online from them that weren't on the US cd's but it's near impossible at times. I forgot you were the other AT member who I knew loved RHCP.

I know, as i've heard it/seen the video. He mentioned the new ALBUM sounding good though which is why I posted what I did.

oh thats quite alright. i mean, you hear some random person spouting off about a product that still isnt due for another week and a half and a part of you has to assume it was obtained unscrupulously. i would've done the same in your shoes. so no offense taken at all.

btw, about the experiment with einstein in the delorean in the parking lot occured... how come you dropped the camera as you and doc turned around to see the flames from the car time travelling? i figured you would just keep on filming.

And to answer your question, it's not everyday a car vanishes right before it hits you and then leaves a trail of flames behind you. I'm only human after all.

that 5th scene is a tribute to glam rock, it's not tom petty, I think Anthony is supposed to be Iggy Pop. Flea as Ziggy Stardust, John as Marc Bolan, Chad maybe going for a New York Dolls thing.

The unplugged scene is Nirvana for sure, all the way down to the sweaters.

The hair band scene looks most like Poison to me, but there could be some early Crue in there too. Some of these scenes they seem to be going for the genre and not necessarily one specific band.

The 3rd scene seems like a bunch of late 60's stuff jumbled together (I think primarily Cream), but then Kiedis looks like Prince in that, weird.

Oh yeah, the 4th scene is Parliament, big influence on RHCP

I'm pretty meh about the song, but the video is interesting enough that I've watched it more than once
