RH7 + NFS + Kickstart probs

i'm trying to install rh7 over NFS via kickstart. but i'm having some strange ( hopfully easy to solve problems ). First of all, manual installation over NFS fails with the "directory does not apear to contain a Redhat installation tree" message. This is total BS : ) since the NFS server is exporting the Redhat CD, so it is defacto a valid installation tree, ... isn't it?. Secondly once i get over that hurdle i'm still facing kickstart installation ( from boot floppy ) over now working NFS. So far i configured my ks.cfg file and put it on the boot floppy ( made from bootnet.img ), but executing linux ks=floppy does not seem to start the automatic ks installation, but takes me to the textual install ( starting with language selection ). This is with ks.cfg pointing to cdrom as the installation source ( obviously once i get NFS working i'll replace that ). The file was generated by mkkickstart util and modified slightly to fit the install machine config. I'm stumped, any clues, pointers will be greatly appriciated.
