how do edit init so i can login in gui mode.

currently i can run init 5 at command line, but its temporary

also how can i print screen in command line.i have a local printer.
 
You need to modify a line in your inittab which you'll find in /etc. Look for a line that says something like id:3:initdefault: and change the 3 to a 5.
