That little bitch just preordered a Geforce FX, coming to the grand spanking huge-ass knock-you-down total to $424.99. :Q
Course, we get the card, a hat, a t shirt, some demo discs(Delta Force, etc.), free next-day shipping, and of course, the box that we get to sell for $300 on eBay after we take the card out.

But of course, this joy is all for him, as the card will no doubt barely get to our front porch before he has it jammed in his rig, completely bypasssing my dated, poor, practically stone-aged little pile of transistors.
His reason? DOOM III. That's it. He is going to spend a minimum of $31,986 to make sure his little bundle of joy plays that damn game at highest performance with all settings maxed out...he's getting a new flat panel 19" LCD, this new card, (and of course the $50+ game the second it hits the shelves) and he'll probably take a week off work to sit and rot in his room while he plays it from start to finish in one sitting.
Better start stocking up on the beer.
