"The only way to make good money is to keep switching jobs"
I'm believing this idiom more and more everyday. I've been with my firm for 5 years now, currently as a Network Support Engineer. Just tonight I found out that our 7 month old new hire, in the same position, was brought in making $7,000 more than me.
It just angers me to hear Management complain about lack of employee longevity...Well JACKASS, do you think it has anything to do with the fact that you've got wage increase caps and hire new people at higher rates than your veterans?
I like where I'm at, but with practices like that I feel as if I HAVE NO CHOICE but to start looking around to see what my options are.
