You know what? I think enoughs enough. Don't get me wrong Moonbeam I appreciate your Christian faith. Kudos to you buddy.

I will add though that it is interesting that the Catholics are just as bad as the Muslims when it comes to attacking and suppressing other religions.

Organised religion is shit.

My theory is that the catholic claim to be the one and only true religion, pretty much like every other only religion, allowed those catholic soldiers to mask their real feelings of worthlessness by expressing that supposed superiority as a justification mask for murdering others to inferiors to make them feel that way in turn. It's not a really good strategy because somebody is sure to come back and kick in your own head using the same justification, and have that justification be kind of real.

I just had this moment where I am thinking that if people want believe in Christianity, Shinto, Buddhism, Islam or whatever. Who am I to challenge that and say otherwise? Personally I would describe myself as a cynical agnostic. I went to a religious high school (Anglican) with mandatory religious education classes and still never found any use for god but if others do kudos.

Strangely enough one of my sisters went to a different religious high school (catholic) and never found any use for god either. Maybe it runs in the family?

When I say she went to a catholic high school. I mean catholic some of her teachers where like Jesuit monks or some shit.

Get a room! :D

Look buddy. I recently discovered what docking is and if I want to perform it with Moonbeam that's between me and Moonbeam. OK? There is no need for homosexual connotations when we are discussing the catholic faith. Catholicisms lends itself towards that naturally anyway. As well as other perverted behaviours. At least according to doctrine. :)

You have to admit that P&N is fun until you realise that you really are stepping on certain members deeply held beliefs. Then it isn't so much fun as war. At least for them.

Personally I can take people questioning my beliefs.

There are plenty of princesses out there who see the world in black and white. Personally I don't see how that is possible. There are over a billion hindus. over a billion communists who don't believe in god. Catholicism is strong and has been predominant for centuries but for how much longer? When does the driving force of humanity make religion irrelevant?

And you know, blah, blah blah. :p

That wasn't a homosexual connotation. Just didn't seem like something that would be a thread, but something, where such discussion would be taking place, via private message. My bad. Carry on.... :)
And I was only joking around, I hope you know.

That's cool bro. I was merely stating that if moonbeam and myself wanted to dock. That's between myself and moonbeam. It seems the purpose of this thread has become to joke around. ;). It's all in good fun mate. ;)

Check when I posted and the time of the edit. I don’t mind but I want to be clear I posted to a different OP.

In the interest of fairness Moonbeam posted to my original OP which I changed afterwords. Because I am over the whole denounce the Catholics thing. Unfortunately for me my attention span is fickle at best.

I appreciate your willingness to be tolerant. I am not a Catholic nor am I a typical believer because my notion of God is tied up with the fact of having experienced a conscious state that transformed my life fron a deep state of hopelessness to let’s just say something rather far on the other side of the spectrum.

I believe something similar, interpreted variously in different times conditions and places lies at the root of the major religions, even sometimes today to honest and sincere people. For this reason I respect peoples’ faith because when it is real I think it can take them there. Probably the majority miss the point or become dangerous fanatics, but for most people it is the only hint they will come across that points to another dimension of human consciousness. I think it morally reprehensible, for that reason, to shit on people’s faith. I couldn’t go that way but that is the most common road in in my opinion. And for me it was loss of faith that drove my quest.

With this I agree. While it is fun to do so on the internet. ;) I do not knock others faith IRL. It takes an aspect of strength of character to truly believe. I don't but that is my burden to bear. :)
