According to Tweaktown.com, the 3 phase boards are more likely to support Palomino, the soon to be released Athlon core. Here is the list as it is so far. PM me if you have info on other boards.

2 phase -

Asus A7V133
MSI K7T Turbo

3 phase -

Abit KT7A
Epox 8KTA3
Iwill KK266

Thanks!

Now don't take this as fact. But if the article is correct at Tweaktown couple with the one that was at Overclockers it appears as though its at least a 3 phase. A three phase has to have 6 mosfets and it has at least that many. It looks like it has 8 just like Ak73 Pro from Aopen. From the way it looks it was only Asus who has used 2 phase among the big board makers.

It is probably 2-phase.... My A7V133 has 8 MOSFETs just like the MSI... however only 4 of them are for the the CPU Vcore. Im pretty sure the AOpen is 2-phase also.

Got positive confirmation that the MSI K7T Turbo is a 2 phase board, though it has 8 MOSFETs. It has the same 4 and 4 split that the ASUS has.
(see above reply about the ASUS board)

Still - it should be a good board, just not sure if it will support the Palomino when she arrives.
