Reviews on WD1xEADS in mobo RAID-1

So, I had bad experience a year ago when I bought four Seagate 7200.11 1TB drives, which DOA and early failures were the end result.

I go reading places like NewEgg and see the Western Digital WD1xEADS Green drives do not seem to have any better quantitative results with.

While the warranty replacement Seagate drives seem to be working fine in a RAID-1 setup (Abit AB9 Pro motherboard using matrix RAID), even considering a) Seagate again (e.g. 7200.12) or Green Cavier drives makes me nervous.

Anyone know if the Green drives are not to be used in a RAID-1 (mirror) setup? How about in an external enclosure for DVR use?

Well, while I didn't get a reply on this forum, someone did reply on another. Seems he's got five of the 1TB drives running in a RAID configuration with no problems.
