Recently LG Optimus V ($150) was announced on Virgin Mobile.

It looks like a pretty nice phone running Android 2.2 with the 600 Mhz ARM11 Application processor.

Is there a chance one of the reviewers could compare this or the occasional select Prepaid model to the cutting edge high end contract phones? (to give the Anandtech readers a good analysis on how the situation is progressing or not progressing)

P.S. I am also wondering if the Cortex A5 chipsets (Sparrow, 40nm) slated to appear in phones this year will help close the perceived gap?

I'll take this time to say that I volunteered my services but never heard back from Anand.

So either my writing completely sucks, he was too busy to reply, or they are going to continue to only review Apple products.

Its too bad. Smartphones and tablets are what people are actually looking for good, non partisan reviews on. Having a nerd's POV would have been great.

I think it would be great if someone could keep their eyes on all the ins and outs of prepaid (in a way that would be pertinent to Anandtech readers). Maybe an article, strategy guide, or News post that gets released whenever a major change occurs?
