Hi,

I am planning to upgrade my cpu cooler.

I have CM Hyper N620 which gives me not good but decent temps for my stock i7 950.

Will zalman 9900 handle 3.6-8 GHz overclock ?

If you're going 3.8~ territory I'd suggest a Noctua D14, it's only $10-$15 more but well worth it.

Scythe "YASYA" ??

is it worth ?

The noctua D14 is expensive in india i'll rather choose D12 instead, what say ?

I need 3.8 OC with speedstep and multithreading "on"

I've got one of those Zalman's on my i5-760.
It keeps it cool well past 4GHz.
My 24/7 OC 3.66GHz with speedstep, etc on (doesn't have hyperthreading) never goes past 2/3 fan speed under load.
Plus, it looks nicer than any of those other coolers and goes well with my other copper components.

But, I have a fairly open case, and the proc is different, so YMMV.
and of course you can't slap another fan on the Zalman.
