I've noticed that Anand used Intel 850E chipset to review Radeon 9700 Pro. This chipset doesn't support AGP 8X. Will this affect the benchmark result?
 
No. AGP 8x doesn't really mean anything. Better to go with a better overall system than to even worry about it.
