in the middle of a site redesign of my business website, and would like any input you'd like to give..

good, bad, ugly..

I'm not trying to advertise.. just would like to hear the opinions of the anandtech community.

please post what you like, don't like.. and why
if you notice any coding errors, please post your OS, browser type, and version.

Servers status page is broken, error 404 for me.

Not Found
The requested URL /status/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Might just be that the page isn't up yet or something though.

Everything else seems to work, using Mozilla Firebird 0.6
No errors/missing bits I could see.
Looks quite good, although not the fastest thing to load on a 56k

Seems nice to me, a few broken links here and there.

The only thing that I don't like is that the flash menu and graphics at the top left have to compeletely reload everytime you visit another page.

Its nice, but since you obviously got it from a template site, and I have seen tins of sites like this...iut reminds me of them all.
Also, the reloading of the flash parts each tyime is a bit annoying. detracts from the content of the site.

yeah, I personally prefer content driven sites.. but many people like something a little flashy..

so I've tried to combine both worlds.. 90% of the content is dynamic, the forum is being used as a content mangement system.

the site is still about 80% complete in it's current state .. so I'll will post as I have updates.

Gotta love the idiots around here. It's not live for business purposes. He's not submitted it to search engines or been giving it out. He's simply asking what people thing about it in the middle of his redesign.
