Dear Hiring Manager:

Your advertisement on Craigslist.org for an Advertising Sales Coordinator fits my experience and qualifications perfectly. I am very interested in this position with ____, and believe that my education and employment background are appropriate for the position.

As Production Coordinator (Advertising) for present company, I was responsible for all advertising issues related to magazine names . Additionally, I had to interface with sales personnel, clients and overseas printers and ensure the proper execution of insertion orders as well as maintain thorough records of all advertising related processes. Additionally, I reviewed and reported on all incoming RFPs to the CEO and Publisher.

I?ve had the opportunity to read your publication at my college?s library as well as utilize _____'s services to research companies. I was impressed by not only the depth of information available but also with the abundance of reports, articles and tools that would help one to make sense out of the information available. From a potential media buyer?s point of view, the succinctness of the ?Advertising Information? section of the website and the availability of the relevant material in PDF files is always appreciated.

Attached is a copy of my resume with additional information about my qualifications. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to review my credentials and experience and look forward to receiving your reply.

Sincerely,

Vonkhan

Your use of the past tense is troublesome w/ respect to your present company?

If you are not doing such items, then what are your responsiblities at present there.

They may not have wanted phone calls, however, you can inquire to determine who the hiring manager is. That will show initiative. Just do not contact him by phone.
