theres alot of money to be saved there...

I'm sure you can find a cheaper case

ive seen many 7800gt's for $250

motherboard you can get cheaper

hard drive you can get cheaper

basically if you shop around a bit you could dave much moolah

All the components are right choices except for the cpu,you can get a dual core X2 3800+
for an extra 80$.

If you're not overclocking then the parts list is spot on, otherwise either save some pennies on an opteron 146 and OC it or shell out the extra for a 3800X2.

But otherwise a good build.

Yeah, I agree...why go for the 3700+ when you really could go for the X2 3800+.
