They very clearly state that all cards are running at their maximum supported features. Like in some benchmarks, the next gen cards ran PS3.0 and HDR while the X850s did not, and it made the x850s look comparable to the far superior cards.

In your scenario, the faster cards are running softshadows while the slower cards are not.

It is really done unclearly, they should have run all tests in the same environment.
 
Well, the SLI must have obviously been CPU limited. :laugh: So limited, that it was slower than a single card...

In something that is not gpu limited, SLI is normally slower than a single card by like 5%. This is pretty common knowledge.
