package says 32oz but more than 1/2 that seemed like the weight of potatoes/carrots. :(
I finished the whole thing in 1 sitting easy.

normal price $11. on sale for $8.
even for $8, I'd rather buy Stoffer's Bourbon Steak:

it's normally on sale for $3 at my local grocery store.
I find it more tasty than Costco's Angus Steak tips.

I see Mission Hill Bistro angus steak tips, not Costco. Just because you bought it at Costco doesn't mean it's Costco brand. $8 for a pound of fully cooked and packaged beef doesn't sound too bad.

corrected title. thx

I agree $8 isn't a bad price for a lb (16oz) of cooked beef.
but I find the $3 Bourbon Steak to be more tasty and would rather buy that

You can get top round, bottom round or chuck roast for under $3 a pound. Make a simple pot roast, toss in some potatoes and carrots, or do a slow-cooker thing. Does't get much easier than that.

You'd think they'd just about worn out that "Angus" marketing crap. By now everyone should know that Angus is the most common cattle breed in the US.

Chuck roast under $3 isn't common. Even top or bottom round for under $3 is hard to find. Chuck goes for around $4 and top & bottom rounds are in the $3 range. But making pot roast is simple and I don't see the point of buying packaged pot roast.

As for Angus being marketing gimmic, yes and no. If it's the same price and grade, I'll take Angus beef over regular beef. From my BBQ experience, Angus beef is better than regular commodity beef.

Round and chuck have been on sale here a lot lately for $2.77 to $2.88 a pound, and eye of round roast for $3.88. King Soopers right now has boneless bottom round roast on sale for $2.47/lb.

I wish that was true here. I might see once or twice annual sale for that price but that's about it. The only reason I smoke brisket over chuck is because of the lower price. At similar price, I would always choose chuck over brisket.
