For anyone considering PortableMonopoly.NET Afterburner install
I bought a AB kit as soon as I heard it was released. Then I saw PM.NET and saw they were doing "pro" installs w/ a 1 year warranty. I was stoked, so I cancelled my AB kit order and ordered w/ PM.NET. Time passed and I sent my GBA in when I got my email from them. On their website it says,
"We will have your GBA back to you within a week of it arriving here." I estimated that my GBA took, at most, 3 days to get there, and I emailed him 4 days later. I asked how things are going with the installation. A day later, I get a one line email saying,
"It's going fine". I was a little turned off by the dismissal tone, but I was like, "I'll just wait the rest of the week, and I should have my GBA back".
I waited until the week had passed, and still no GBA in my mailbox, so I emailed him again, asking for an estimate on when I would get my GBA back. No response. I emailed him again 3 days later, asking if my GBA's been shipped yet. No response. Another 2 days later, I email him asking again, if he could let me know if my GBA's been shipped. No response. By now, I'm getting a wee bit annoyed and worried. I find this forum and searching for PM.NET reviews and experiences. Not many, but lots of drama (to say the least) leading up to the release of the AB. I do a search for PM.NET, as a member search and find that he's posted here several times (promoting his service), during the time I've emailed him. SO, I email him AGAIN, saying that I've emailed several times without a reply from him.
FINALLY I get this reply from him:
"Look, if everyone that sent me a GBA to install a fronlight in emailed me every other day all I'd do is respond to emails and I'd never install anything.
Stop bugging me so I can install the frontlight in your GBA"

Nice customer service. All I wanted was an explanation or a estimated date of when he'd be done. He could have said, "I'm very very busy. There are 10 GBA's ahead of you, and each one takes me 1 day." I would have been satisfied. Heck, he could have said, "I'm being a lazy-ass so, I'll get to your GBA in 3 days." I would have been satisfied. Well, he's got my GBA, so I'm pretty much helpless.
Just wanted to share my experiences with everyone else.
