Inspired by GuideBot's comment in this thread.
I've always been a winter person. I prefer overcast, rain, etc. I just chalked it up to preference and personality however. A while ago I was studying SAD and learned that there is Reverse SAD as well, where people experience SAD symptoms during the summer, and are fine (or have manic euphoria) in the winter. It's still a relatively unresearched area of SAD but it's of great interest to me.
I was curious if anyone else thought they might suffer Reverse SAD, and if so what sort of area did you grow up in? One of the keys is that it's not about acclimatization. In other words, I don't suffer from it because I grew up in the northwest and am used to certain types of weather. I'd be interested to find someone that grew up in a warm, sunny climate but may suffer Reverse SAD.
