Reverse jet lag?

I should be tired 5 hours earlier, but instead I'm up at 6 AM and have to go to work soon on no sleep. WTF is wrong with me?!

Travelling west = easy. You get to stay up as late as you want and you can sleep in as much as you want. You'll adjust very quickly with no bad effects (or at least minimal effects).

Travelling east = hard. You have to sleep when you aren't tired. You have to wake up at ungodly early hours after you had a night of little to no sleep (since you weren't tired when you went to bed). Many people have major jet lag and often are sick for several days.

Scientific proof shows that to minimize jet lag (either way) you should get sun on your body in the morning at the time you want your body to get accustomed to waking up. Especially get sun on your legs. Odd yes, but studies show it works.

Yeah travelling west is really easy. It's great because you have no trouble getting up early in the morning. 🙂
