Lol just to give you an idea how data driven insurance is. A PMML has 80+ inputs just to score a driver. This score is predicted loss ratio. If your score is too high, you don't even get a quote.

The dividing line can be updated in seconds by the actuarial people if they so desire.

Sounds intimidating, but let's put that back into real-world experience and how data from my car's onboard computer can hurt me... especially if I just granny it for those 90 days. Info please.

Like I said, the hardware one you are probably fine. The apps are far more invasive.

Just got my adsense cheque from Google for $105. I can finally take all the ads off my site now. I had been meaning to do that, but I wanted to make sure I hit the payment threshold first. :p

I hate how everything these days tracks and spies on us so I felt a bit like a hypocrite having those ads on my sites. All gone now. I want to look at doing my own internal ad system instead.

Just got opted in to a class action lawsuit against SiriusXM. That means at some point I will get a cheque for like $2.83! Seriously though I'm glad they're being sued because they have been a pain in the ass ever since I bought my truck. I don't even know how they got all my info but they were harassing me for a good year to sign up. Emails, phone calls, physical mail, pretty much any means necessary. Ironicly the lawsuit is about their use of personal information. Ha!

The fact that they have my info and I'm not even a subscriber kind of speaks volumes on their missuse of personal info... lol.

I'm a happy Sirius subscriber who hates their pricing and "royalty fee" that we've been hit with in recent years...I'd like me some free class-action money...

For the for the very first time I ordered liquid laundry detergent from Amazon, and without the delivery being cancelled while in route to my house because of the package leaking or it arriving with liquid everywhere, the Tide bottle arrived perfectly. I actually had given up ordering this kind of thing from them, but they had such a solid price I figured "What's one more order cancellation because of leaks?". :p

It looks like Amazon has started putting a tough little plastic gripper (it had a name on it, but I forgot what is was before removing it already) on the lid and the body of the bottle, which keeps it from coming loose in shipping!

Way to go Amazon!

Some local bank is texting me my "requested" access code and temporary password. But I don't have an account there!!
Must be initiating a password reset - I've got two different temporary passwords now, because they're retrying. They don't realize they entered the wrong phone number for password recovery. Uh ohs.
Maybe I should log on to their website and see what money is in the account. Opportunity beckons. :smilingimp:

I decided to look at the radar just PRIOR to walking out my door a few minutes ago ... elected to wait a bit!

Would have been right on time to have the skies open on my head! o_O

Got blood work done myself the other day, still fighting the jaw clenching issue, so basically been getting every test under the sun done to try to figure out the cause. Blood test will find out if it's a mineral deficiency like magnesium or something. Also got vitamin D checked. For some reason that is "extra" and not covered so had to pay like $25 for it, but I wanted to check that too. I'm probably fine as far as vitamin D goes but won't know if I don't check.

Take this for what you paid for it... cheap and therefore maybe worthless advice, but I think maybe on point:

Relax, man. Clenching you jaw is, I think, generally associated with anxiety. Relax. If the shoe fits, wear it. If it doesn't, well, best of luck in resolving the problem.

I was just thinking it was time to cut back on the acorns! :p

Seriously hope the jaw turns out to be no big deal. Ironically despite my business still being 90% in the tank I have better health-insurance coverage now then when busting my butt 60 hours a week, so I'm dealing with some potential serious issues myself.

The issue is the clenching is what is causing me the stress and the damage it's doing to my jaw is probably not helping either, so it's a feedback loop really. Need to just figure out how to make it stop. Happens in my sleep so can't really directly control it. Hopefully something comes out from all these tests and overall medical help I'm getting. Been seeing a chiropractor and getting physical therapy as well. Some of that may help as the clenching is making everything so tense in my body. Shoulders, neck etc. The tenseness probably then makes it more likely to happen.

I need to look into botox as well, I hear people get good results from that to make the clenching stop. It basically relaxes the muscles. Downside is it's only temporary but maybe it would be enough to let everything heal up properly and it would hopefully go away on it's own after that.

I was on muscle relaxants as well but it's not good to be on those for more than a few weeks so I weaned off before the sleep study to try to get a more natural sleep as I could.

Might start experimenting with more CBD oils, maybe even some with THC.

Are you getting much aerobic exercise? If not, I very highly recommend you do. Find something you really enjoy doing that increases your cardio-vascular fitness. I bet that helps your clenching problem materially if not outright resolves it! It's the one thing I've done during the pandemic that's helped me way more than anything else (aside from not catching the disease, of course).

Getting some but probably not as much as I should, especially now since I'm back on day shifts so I'm always working and just don't have the energy for an intense workout on days that I'm not off. I typically lift weights and/or go on exercise bike on my days off. When it was nice out I was getting lot of walks in too, even on days that I work as a walk is not really that intensive but probably still helps. There's light out after work now too so I do it mostly to get daylight. In winter I basically get no daylight except for days off but I would get lot of walks in on my days off and home workouts on days I did not go for a walk. I find spring/fall is so cold though compared to winter so I tend to be outside less. It's a different kind of cold, bone chilling. Like today is brutal. Says it's only -4 but it feels like -40. So less inclined to go for walks in this weather.
