How difficult is it for someone(who's not a police officer, nor James Bond) to look up your cell phone number, if you gave his girlfriend your old, disconnected cell phone number? The old number is with Sprint, and the new number is with Cingular. If you call the disconnected number, it says it's disconnected or something similar, and it provides no additional information. I saw some reverse cell phone number look-up service online, but since it costs a fair amount of money to look up a phone number, I think it's unlikely that he used such a service.

AFAIK, cell phone numbers are unlisted and you can't get them normally (barring a warrant or other such thing).

I LOVE cellphones, no telemarketers. Unless you actually give the telemarketer your cell phone number, which is extremely rare.

I don't know how useful these sites are...hopefully they help! :)

Thanks for the links. Those are about what I found for cell phone# look ups. None of the free look-up services turned up any info, and the guy only had a first name to go on, so I wonder if he actually paid for one of these pay-for-look-up services. Freaky.... By the way, I'm sitting at home, kinda worried about some big dude busting down my door, but it's really my roommate he should be looking for.... He's the one with the cell phone number. He managed to fly out to somewhere I don't know(not because of this jealous BF-type though). It'll suck if I get mistaken for my roommate and get the beatdown from he and his henchmen.
