Ive always wanted one. Voodoo uses some, and Lian Li's v1000 and v2000 series are designed this way.

Anybody have one? Any comments about it?

Easier to manage? Better cooling?

The only problem I have seen with them is that some heatpipes used on motherboards are designed so that direction matters and they dont cool chipsets well in those cases (most new motherboard heatpipes are of a different design so it shouldn't be a problem).

I wouldn't be surprised if some video cards were designed with orientation in mind for cooling as well. I have an Aerocool Coolview and the only problem with it is that the place I have for it to sit is on the left side of my desk so I have to turn it around or move it to monkey around inside. That may be enough for me to go back to my R5604 when I get my Hitachi 7K160 RMA replacement (was DOA). I'm hoping for early next week.

The Lian Li PC-05 is even more backwards.

The motherboard is inverted, the PSU is in the front of the case, and the rear fan is an intake (giving the CPU the coolest air possible), its actually very BTX'ish.

It's a very nice high quality clean looking minimalistic case.
