So... Manufacturers should have an "engine" button to where the car pulls the engine noise in? Kinda like, radio, cd, sat, engine?

That reminds me of an episode of Pimp My Ride where they installed this engine sound device in the woman's hood that could simulate noises from cars like a F1, Saleen, etc. It was sooooooo bad.

Actually, this day, all the cars with RFT as standard have TPMS as standard. And also, TPMS has become pretty much standard to all brands recently anyway. (And yes, they do work well. At least Honda's did and BMW's does)

Yeah, my Nissan has one, so I wouldn't doubt that the tech is available to Nissan 😛.

Speaking of tires, Nissan cheated and used "cut slick tyres".

PistonHeads article

'We used cut slick tyres' said Mizuno. 'I was not interested in full slick times as this bears no resemblance to a road tyre. 1.2G of force was being pulled in wet and over 2 in dry'.

1.2G in wet and 2 in dry? What kind of runflats can do something like that? If production car is going to use runflat, use runflats for testing. Don't use slicks and claim that's the same as runflats.

Who knows what else Nissan tweaked to get this number. Probably boosted the turbos and tuned the engine too.

11.7 quarter mile....I call shenanigans on that.

And there is no way a non-V8 can make that much power. I think Nissan has really pulled the wool over a lot of eyes.

No way a non v-8 can make 480 hp, is my sarcasm meter broken?

People have 350z cranked up to 800HP+

and those engines, like this one, are probably TT'd as well. FI does a hell of a job at adding power/torque. doing that NA in a six is totally different.
