Rev2 or HSDRAM?

I know I'm going Mushkin for my memory and I'll be OC'ing a cB0 Cu-Mine

Rev2 does 2-2-2
HSD does 2-3-2

but how much of a difference would that be, really. I doubt I'd even notice it. I'm leaning on the HSD but figured I'd ask anyone in the know.

That's some expensive memory you have your eyes on. Look at my sig. I have some Crucial memory that's doing 150MHZ CAS2. It's been six months and I don't have any problem with it and it's cheaper too.

the HSDRAM stuff does not overclock very well, and has problems with the CUSL2.

i have 2 sticks of the rev.2 stuff and i'd definetely get the rev.2 over the HSDRAM

I looked at the Muskin site lastnight and the HSDRAM looks to have been removed from their inventory as it said no longer carried, or something to that liking. Yep, just checked, the stuff has be "discontinued".

I just order , and received today, some PC133 CAS2 rev1.5 as I figured it has to be some what close to the Rev2.0 stuff for $30 less.

Even though the differences are small (in performce), the HSDRAM has some compatibility issues on some newer (i815) mobos, so generally i'd say that Rev 2 stuff is better. If the price for both is in the same ballpark, of course 🙂

Pliotronx, I know now what people were talking about when they said the loved the "bubble". It is a clever little way of shipping it.

What compatibility issues with the 815? Is that for the newer HSDRAM, or the older 3-2-2 133MHz version? I've been running my HSDRAM in my MSI i815E Pro at 157MHz for about a month now.
