I don't see this frenzy of hate speech against whites. What I see are some attention grabbing headlines filled with empty nothingness. Are you really scared as a white guy in America? Am I really oblivious to this war on whites? I just don't feel persecuted. I've seen examples of my white privilege in action throughout my years. All I see are plusses to being a white male in America today and for the foreseeable future. I look at Congress, I look at CEO's, business owners, etc...mostly all white males. I see nothing encroaching on that anytime soon. Maybe I'm missing something. Or maybe this war on whites is a brilliant creation of Republicans. Whatever it is, the Dems should focus on economic issues and things like free tuition vs trans rights for example. Sure fight for trans rights when in power, just don't die on that hill getting there.

Don't mistake what the alt-right claims Dems are doing for what Dems are doing.

I think what you are seeing is a product of testosterone and males in general, not necessarily skin color regarding all of the successful white males. For example, I read that most patents and small businesses created are by men, not women since men are willing to incur more risk. As far as white privilege, I don't believe in that. The reason some whites get hired more is because of how social cohesion and fear works on a biological level - people are less afraid of people who look/act like themselves. This can be any trait not just skin color - intellect, socioeconomic status, culture, religion. I've seen people at my own workplace hire people strictly based on the college they went to, no BS. Like the saying goes - it's who you know. People usually want to be around people who are more like them and everyone is susceptible to this phenomenon because it can even be at a subconscious level. It transcends race, however. For example, all my neighbors are white Trump supporters and I'm not white. However, they invite me over for dinner all the time. All we really have in common are political beliefs and enjoying each others' company. I bet they would hire me in a heartbeat over someone just as qualified and white.

Regarding should you be worried as a white male? Well, it depends where you live (i.e. Blue State where you're a minority - uhhh yeah.). Regarding the media fanning the flames, they absolutely have.

I live in NJ in the most diverse city in the nation, in a neighborhood where I am in the minority by far. And it doesn't bother me at all. Why should it bother me? I don't feel worried or persecuted lol What do I have to worry about exactly so I can start to look out for it?

Anyway, this neighborhood will slowly turn whiter, due to its proximity to NYC and transportation, and my condo will go up in value dramatically and I definitely won't be too worried then either.

The articles about the demographics on voting are just that, articles on the changing demographics of the electorate. No big deal. The 'White Men Must be Stopped' article was mostly just a headline with a dramatic byline. Reading it there is nothing to worry about. Read it and tell me you are still nervous for white people afterwards.

Now any other threats made against someone or people just because they are white should be treated accordingly. Minorities get threats all the damn time, and they carry weight behind them. There are going to be some favors returned. Any violence should be dealt with and prosecuted of course. Nobody is saying violence against whites should be allowed or go unpunished. There will be bad apples on all sides brother. I hope they are all caught and put away, whatever color or gender.

Interesting, I actually grew up in NJ. The property taxes are insane. I don't know how you put up with that, man. Plus, if you ever sell your place and want to leave NJ dings you with an exit tax as well. Not to mention now your taxes just went up to support its "sanctuary city" status. We won't even get into the tolls going up to fund certain things. But I'm guessing you're making pretty good bank to afford real estate up there so it's moot.

Nah I never said you should look out personally, but there is a small backlash against whites fueled by the media. If you're in a place like Jersey City, I'd be... alert. Areas like Hoboken or Union City? You're fine. I agree there are bad apples on both sides for sure. I just find the media trying to incite hate against certain people based on skin color to be disingenuous and slimy. Nobody cares except the gullible, but the media didn't get the memo.

Over the years, this concept has taken root in the state, with the result being that residents who are relocating believe they are paying an additional tax (what people call the NJ exit tax) on the sale of their homes as they move out of state.

Instead, it is really a prepayment of state taxes you they already owe, based on profit from the sale.
