Reusing shipping boxes marked with a carrier with a different carrier

I need to ship a few things out and grabbed an old fedex box to use. I didn't notice it was marked fedex until I had everything taped and packaged. I did however marked over the fedex the best I can but you can see it. I think I should be safe since USPS usually employs older people and hopefully they're more mature and respectful.

Not too sure on UPS or Fedex as they usually employ younger people to sort, load and unload packages.

I do it all the time but I usually wrap the box in brown paper before shipping to avoid any confusion.

I just turn the box inside-out.
