Reuse AM2 BE2300 cooler?

Anyone ever reuse the cooler from a AM2 Retial box BE2300 cpu on an AM2 OEM 6000+ cpu? Not overclocking either. If so can ai just clean off the cooling pad and use Arctic Silver on the 6000+?

Trying it won't hurt. Your temps should max out at under 60c.
