Hey guys. About 1 month ago, I purchased a 256 MB stick of PC133 SDRAM for this computer. I put it in, and it didn't work. I am going to try to return it today. Do you think they will give me money back, or just store credit? Thanks.

How did you pay? Cash? Credit Card?

If you paid by cash, they should refund your money (unless they have a specific return policy for RAM).

If you paid by credit card, then they will credit it back to the account.

doesn't CompUSA charge restocking fees for open items? Like 10-15%? (could be wrong)

I paid in cash.

*Edit* I really don't know. They say they don't accept any returns after 14 days. It's been 1 month. But this has 100% guaranteed compatibility on the package. I sure hope they at least give me store credit, or it may be up on the FS/FT forum ;) .

I don't think you will get your money back. I am pretty sure that their return policy is 14 days, unless they change it.

if it doesn't work, they may exchange it for you, but i'm pretty sure they won't give you your money back.

Wait, is it damaged or does it not work in Kalvin00's system? There's a difference!
