returning license plates...

is there any other info I need to provide the DMV ? I'm doing this as a favor for my brother who moved out of state.

Wait, you think the DMV is just going to let you return opened and used license plates? Do you think they're stupid or something? How do they know you didn't just take them home and make an imprint of them to copy from and then return them? Is it their fault you didnt RTFReturnPolicy? NY state, no insurance you need to turn in your plates to the DMV.

In Rhode Island, you have to return them in order to get back your plate fee. I think I got $30 back for mine.
