How well does this compare to Medal of Honor: Allied Assault?

I'm mainly interested in the single-player aspects, since I don't play multi-player games much lately.

I think it's mostly a pretty good single-player with a kick-ass multiplayer. Haven't played it myself, though.

Check this consumer driven review site out. I feel it was a little overrated in the mags.

OMG RTCW was a joke in how hard it was, I beat it in no time in the hardest setting which I think is "I am death Incarnate".

IT WAS A PIECE OF CAKE

Medal of honor is much harder and better, plus the new expansion pack coming out in a couple fo weeks.

For those who like MOH, you should like RTCW. I don't play the single player at all. Multiplayer is friggin cool though. Also, if you have this version, you can get the updates to Game of the Year free. There's also a LOT of homemade maps out there too. For 15 bux GET IT.

I used to be a RTCW multiplayer addict.
Try KungFuGrip and Schvalb maps.
Then try Banimod.

But now I've become a Battlefield 1942 demo addict.
Why? You still have role classes like sniper, infantry, panzer anti-tank, medic, and engineer but now you have a world of vehicles and stationary guns to drive/man like Halo.

Both demos are awesome in multiplayer mode. I'm not a single mode player.
This it a hot deal for RTCW.

This is a good price la...though I felt so sick after playing the first time.....'cause inside the castle, everything was so close.....almost puke after playing an hour. But I think this is a good game for that price.

this is an awesome deal (might pick up two for bonehead friends). Remember though November 12th
Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory - ACTIVISION is going to be released.
This isn't an expansion pack either (although it's like it). Banimod is awesome /spy (poison knife and change into enemy uniform) /scout (clones of yourself), /pilot (jetpacks) flying around. Oh yea WildWest ain't too shabby either...kinda slow but fun.

I get the same way playing in confined areas in FPS. I can play outdoor maps for hours and feel fine. Weird... great price for a great game though.

WTF is with the $6 ground shipping for a small game box?
<$15 is a hot price for this game. >$20 shipped is only warm.

Thanks! The three games on my son's Xmas list are RTCW, Max Payne, & Jedi Knight 2. The prices for all 3 are decent and I can get them for one shipping charge.

If you thought you missed out, for some reason the deal's still good even though the first 48 hours have passed. Even the "countdown timer" seems to have been reset.

Got RTCW and NOLF2. Couldn't find a third game to lower the shipping per game. Oh well.

Those of you who have responded that playing games often make you a bit sick should try and find a game you like alot and play it's levels on a high mouse setting.. so you get alot of swaying "sick twisty stuff" after a while you will train your stomach that it's not real
I have multiple friends with what we call DOOM syndrome because it affects them in almost all fps games. After playing games at highspeeds for a couple weeks they've all overcome it in 90% of the games they play.

My personal opinion is that RTCW rocked MOHAA wasn't nearly as good in netplay and that Bfield 42 kicks both their arses.

except for it's crappy netcode and a few twitches.. bf42 is one of the best games I have ever played.

BF 1942, same site, $24.90 (here)

It's jewel case only, but who needs the box and manual? I got the jewel case when they had it for $19.90, the code key is included and is valid (it's in the cd case).
